    Term Will Contain
Several Vacations
With the beginning of classes
Monday, September 29, the Uni
versity of Oregon starts the 05th
year of its history. Students will
continue their academic studies
uninterrupted until Saturday,
October 11, when many of them
will go to Portland to attend the
Oregon-California game. This is
also the last day for registration
or addition of new courses.
Armistice day, which falls on
Ttossday, November 11, will be
rale first real roliday, with no
classes scheduled. This date has
also been set aside for the Ore
gon-Santa Clara game in Port
land.
Four days will be allowed for
the Thanksgiving vacation,
starting Thursday, November 20,
and terminating Sunday, Novem
ber 23.
Classes for the term end Fri
day, December 12, and final ex
aminations will be held from
Monday, December 15, through
Friday, December 19. Christmas
vacation will last until winter
term registration, Manday, Janu
ary 5.
Very Little- Theater
To Enact ’Skylark’
“Skylark,” by Samson Raphael
son, will be presented at the Very
Little Theater, in the Lane coun
ty fairgrounds on West 13th
street about the middle of Octo
ber, it was revealed Monday.
Later in the year the VLT players
will present “The Little Foxes,”
“Will Shakespeare,” a comedy,
and possibly an old-fashioned
melodrama on the order of “The
drunkard,” which has played to
capacity houses for two seasons.
