Duluth Symphony Sponsors UO Grad Brahton Young, Oregon ’38, harpist in the Duluth Symphony orchestra, will be featured in a nation-wide broadcast of the group Saturday, May 10, from 2:30 to 3 p.m., over the Mutual network. She will be soloist in a Ravel concerto for harp and orchestra. The program can be tuned in lo cally over either station KALE in Portland or station KWIL in Albany. Miss Young has been with the Duluth symphony group since October and plans to play with them next season as well. After graduating from the University, she studied in San Francisco un der Kajetan Attland, later played in Hollywood for six months. While on the campus Miss Young was president of Mu Phi Epsilon .music honorary for up perldivision women; Tau Delta Delta, music honorary since dis solved; Heads of Houses; and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She also was a member of Mor tar Board and played in the Uni versity orchestra, band, and re citals and concerts.
