LIBRARY1 ca*:pus Gracious Queen Annabelle and Five Princesses To Part Curtains on 'Arabian’ Junior Weekend By RAY SCHRICK "Open sesame ..." and lo, the University of Oregon will open to day! The magic command/ entrance to treasures of Arabian Nights, will spread wide the gates of Junior Weekend and to a recreation of the land of Aladdin, genii, and magic lamps. A campus luncheon at 12 o'clock will be first campus-wide meeting of mothers and friends in a week end thrown from the world of facts to fantasy. Queen Annabelle Dow and her court of four princesses will rule a magic realm through fun and se riousness, through state and frolic, through all the wonders that made Arabian Nights a fairyland of en chantment to the Oriental eye. Coronation, mock canoe fete, baseball, and tonight a Junior Prom will be major events in a program designed to keep each minute in maximum use. Clearing campus skies last night pointed to a weekend free from the wiles of rainy weather. Prepared for any occasion, each event will run exactly to schedule.
