Cornish, profes sor in the University of Oregon .school of business administration, wit! teach as visiting professor during the L940 summer sessions a( the University of Utah, Sait Lake City, it was revealed yes terday Dr. Cornish will leave the cam pus on June 10 with his family for the six weeks’ session at Utah, where he will be one of three vis iting' professors in th school of business administration. He will teach two courses, survey meth ods of distribution and problems of distribution. *rhe position was acquired as a direct result of acclaim won by the research work, done by Dr. Cornish and students in business ■administration, in comprehensive purveys of a number of Oregon stores. Upon completion of the sum mer sessions, Dr. Cornish will leave for a mouth’s tour of the East. He plans to motor through the South and up the Atlantic coast to New York City, taking motion pictures and making studies of store moderations in many large department houses. If: time permits he will journey into New England before return ing to the Pacific coast. He plans to arrive back at Oregon on the first of September. We’re Saying . . . Congratulations ! The group will dis cuss plans to handle the coco-cola concessions at the canoe fete Junior Weekend and the idea of sponsoring a show on commis sion basis. The money from any such plans will be used to help send Oregon students to Seabeck summer camp on Hood's canal. Washing ton. The Seabeck organization is a youth project sponsored by the YMCA and the YWCA. Any persons who are interested in Seabeck are invited to attend the meetings and if any further information is desired it may be procured from Virginia James and Henry Carr, YWCA and YMCA student presidents; Mrs. DeCou, YW executive secretary, and Paul Sutley, YM executive secretary. The camp is an open affair and all students who wish to are in vited to attend. Statistics gathered by -Dart mouth university officials show that the average college youth is taller and heavier than his prede cessors.
