New Course Changes Made Recommendations Seek Approval of State Board Next Course changes for the Oregon ; catalog during the year 1940-41 ! were approved by University in- j structors at a faculty meeting Wednesday aftetnoon in Friendly hall. The list, as recomfnended by the committee on course changes, will be filed by Dr. Donald M. F.rb, president, in the chancellor’s of fice for approval of the state board of higher education. The board will meet in Portland Tues day, December 12. Faculty members passed a reso lution extending sympathy to the friends and family of the late Robert Carlton Clark, Oregon his tory instructor. The resolution | commented on Dr. Clark’s ability l and pr aised his service on this i campus.
