Military Dance, ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ Cap Term’s Social Events ‘Little Colonel’ Will Be Picked Saturday Night Military Honorary Runs Election; Dan Flood’s Band Will Play for Formal Ball The last major social event of this term, the Military Ball, will be held March 6, Saturday night, in the Igloo with the climax of the evening being the introduction of the Little Colonel chosen from a list of fifteen potential candidates. Each person entering the ball room will vote for one of the 15 coeds named on the programs. The girl with the highest number of votes will be named the Little Colonel. Of the next four highest, two will be appointed majors and two will be named captains at a coronation ceremony at 11:00. As the candidates are both un opposed, the polls will be closed after three votes have been cast. Cumbersome political machin ery must be swung into action to meet with legal requirements of the old ABUO constitution. Clerks and checkers will be on hand for the election. After three votes have been stacked into the ballot boxes, the polls will be closed, the elec tion board will count the three votes, and the winners will be declared.
