EASTER PROCESSION Campus Talk Reveals Coed Easter Costumes “You’ll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade—” There were so many Oregon coeds about that it was well-nigh impossible to pick the grandest. But here and there our eyes sin gled a little bit of color out from the rest—and so now, although in fear and trembling lest we missed something else fine, we present some of Oregon’s “grandest la dies.” Wc nominate for the Easter pa rade— ANNE HOUNSELL, new Alpha Chi Omega house president, for her checked chartreuse and brown silk suit, with a brown Elizabethan collar on the dress, and a finger tip length jacket, worn with a shiny brown straw hat trimmed by a chartreuse bow. BETTY JANE CASEY, whose little red rough straw hat tops a long blue dress coat, blue tie pumps, and dark blue stockings. BETTY JANE tilts her hat over one eye, the red contrasting with the knot of her dark hair. DOROTHY ANN CLARK, for a jaunty white coat modeled after the new men's wraparounds. Two long pleats in the back extend to the bottom of the full-length coat, the belt wraps around, and there is a large Joan Crawford collar. KAY LARSON, a symphony in blue and grey. Her bright navy wool suit is trimmed in grey fox fur, the short jacket buttoned down the front and the collar fas tened across the front. She wears a grey sailor hat with a blue band, and grey accessories. HELEN WRIGHT, who has turned sailor over Easter. Blonde HELEN is going navy in a pebble crepe dress of midshipman blue, with large white corded revers and collar, and a white corded frog at the belt to match. VIRGINIA SCHULTZ, for the j navy blue, pink dotted sleeves of her redingote, dress, showing be low the three-quarter sleeves of her navy coat; for the ruffled Elizabethan collar on her dress; ! for navy blue straw pokebonnet hat and her blue accessories. GENEVIEVE McNIECE, whose red hair flames above a green, brown, and tan print dress, trimmed with a huge brown belt, brown buttons down the front, and ' a tan collar tying in front. JANE LEE, who flaunts a tur quoise blue hat above her white wool suit. Her sporty cuban-heeled white shoes, which buckle at the side, match the nonchalance of her finger-tip length, loosely hung jacket.
