Homecoming! There never was a more joyous or hap
pier time. All the cares and worrying of the “cruel, old
world” disappear mgically and everyone is young again,
cutting capers, yelling, and "horsing around" in general.
Gee, but it’s great sport to come back again to the old
Alma Mater and re-live some of those inimitable experi
ences known only to college and college students. And
the game with O. S. C., with both teams evenly matched,
and the entire student body of both schools present to
back up their respective teams . . . with the grandstands
gay with bright colors and yellow chrysanthemums . • .
there never was such a time! The Eugene merchants are
all behind you, and are betting on the wonderful Oregon
team to give O. S. C. the trimming they deserve. Don’t
believe that most of us won’t be at the game today our
selves, and won’t be going home hoarse from yelling for
the Lemon Yellow and the Green!
