The plav was written by ..Johnston and Boone Hendricks, and is beipg directed bp them. Virginia Moore is n charge of the training of the Ohornses, and Bob Warner is di red ino- the specialty acts of the production. I lie rehearsal of some part of Hie comedy is held every day, and a complete rehearsal of the entire production was held at the fleilig Tuesday afternoon. The scenery and the costumes have been ordered. It is expected that the work on the play, except for a few finishing touches, will be perfected by the end of next week. Campus Luncheon Friday At noon Friday the annual enm pUH luncheon, of which Kldj'ess Judd is tin1 head, will be held on the campus in front of Friendly hall., The details of the feed will be an nounced later. During the luncheon hour the or chestra will furnish music and the Order of the “()” will furnish a special series of events in the vici nity of the fountain between the library anil Heady hall. The prin cipal feature of the afternoon will be a baseball game between the University of Oregon and the Uni versity of Washington. (Friday evening at 7 o’clock a water polo game will be held between the var sity teams of the university and 0.8. C. in the pool in the men's gym. It will be belli Friday night on the mill rare under the direction of Kenton Ilaniaker, general chair man. Fourteen floats will be en tered in comept.ition by L’S of the living organizations of the campus for two permanent cups, as well as otl^ei* prizes. 0 Saturday morning will be devoted to a tennis game with Washington at lit o’clock, which will probably decide the championship of the I’acific northwest, and a water ear nival which will be given on the mill race under the direction of Sharp. This will be the first such event ever to be presented here. A second baseball game with Washington will be played Satur day afternoon. Prom Ends Celebration The final event of the week-end will be the Junior From Saturday night. The prom is probably the biggest d.anee held on the campus during the school year. It will be given at McArthur court. Crosby Owens is in charge of this affair. He has rt- staff at work on the plans and will announce the motif of the decorations within a short time. The second annual Mother’s Day will be held on the campus in con nection with Junior Week-end. Eleanor Doorman, who is in charge of the day, has planned a number of special ' events for the mothers, such as a tea and a banquet, in addition to the regular week-end events. Norblad is handling all finances of the var ious events and attempting to set the budgets so that the entire week end this year will be financially successful.
