Frosh Squad To Mix With 0. N. S. Here Yearlings Are Ready for Tough Contest With Monmouth on Friday Reinhart’s Men All Primed For Strenuous Battle i - The afternoon before the Web foots amt Huskies tangle in Port ia ml the frosh take on the Oregon Normal school of MOrimouth for four quarters of football at Hay ward field. Coach “Bill” Reinhart’s yearlings were going great guns against the varsity last night, not in an actual game but in line play. The frosh are large, they are fast, and they are all experienced foot ball men, but they are meeting a veteran team Friday. Oregon Nor mal submerged Linfjeld last Satur day 29-0. Senn, Klonuiger, and Campbell, stars of the teachers’ backfield, wrought much of the damage done to Lin field and they will have to be well smothered to keep them from scoring. Klonuiger scored two of the four touchdowns, the other men each turning in one. k Senn, a former Medford high school star, rounded the Linfield ends nearly at will. Frosh Show Strength But then, the frosh are not weak lings. With DeMers, Disney, Brown, Fletcher, and Glenn in the back-' field, and with LaVoe, Ward, Lnn dalil, and Messenger as reserves for positions behind the lino, Reinhart is not worried about the scoring part of his machine. Senn will have a tough time rounding cither end of the yearlings’ team with Erdley holding down ono side and Tarboll on the other. One look at the rest of the line will convince the most skeptical that it would be a stone wall. As yet the frosh squad has not been depleted by casualties arid more additions are coming out all the time. Friday-’s game- is tile first of the season for the first year men, with three more following closely, two with the rooks and one with the Washington babes.
