Kennel-Ellis Will Take Pic tures by Schedule HOUSES LISTED IN ORDER Augusta DeWitt, Editor, Asks Promptness Tuesday—Alpha Chi Omega. Wednesday—Alpha Tau Omega Thursday—Alpha Delta Pi. Photographing for the 1925 Ore gana will commence today, with each fraternity on the campus al lotted one day in which their mem bers may have their pictures taken. A schedule has been drawn up, the houses being given precedence in alphabetical order. In each organization a person has been appointed to take charge and see that the members under stand just what they are to do in connection with the photographing. It is urged by the Oregana heads that the house managers and presi dents cooperate with these represen tatives and ascertain that all mem bers of the organization get to the Kennel-Ellis studio during the prop er time. uaras to Do sent out A time card is to be sent to the ; various fraternities on which are placed ten minute periods for the entire day allotted to the organiza tion. The members are to indicate, by this, what ten minutes during the time the studio is open that they will be able to sit for their pictures. The studio will be open in the evenings also, in order that j ample time bo flowed for those i who cannot get away during the | day. “It is very important that oach ! house see that its members have their pictures taken on the dato set, ptherwise confusion will result,” is the statement of Augusta De Witt, editor of the annual. “Last year some organizations were not very prompt, with the result that | many students did not liavo their pictures in the book at all, and this year we want every student in the Tlnivcrsity to bo represented.” Prices are Given Students who are entitled to have their pictures in honor organiza tions should be suro that the fact is > known at the studio. Two poses will bo permitted for seventy-five cents ahd four for one dollar, which includes one glassy print or solio. Seventy-five cents of the money collected from each student will be donated as the studio’s portion to • the Gift campaign. There will be no houses listed during the week-end of Homecom ing, but the schedule will continu* without interruption next Monday. Due to some misunderstanding, the Alpha Beta Chi's, who were sup posed to have their members pho tographed yesterday, did not tc ceivo notice in time. Tho studio will be open Friday and Saturday of this week so that they will be allowed ample opportunity to get their pictures. LEMON-YELLOW WINS FROM WHITMAN, 40-6 (Continued from page one) the O. A. Oregon has scored 188 to ISO points made by the Huskies, since the two colleges have been playing against each other. Also, Washington has won eight, while Oregon has won seven out of the number of games played. FEW MEN RESTRICTED IN GYMNASIUM WORK There is a comparatively small number of men on the campus who nre out of athletics on account of I physical disability of some sort, j Out of the total number of men in ; the freshman and sophomore classes ! there are 78 who are restricted in the types of athletics that they eau take part in. Of the 78 men probably slightly ; more than half of them have heart J trouble of different kinds, accord- j ing to Harry Scott, of the physical education department. The object j of the physical education depart ment is to help these men to find some sort of sport from which they can get enjoyment rather than to have them devote all their time to corrective work. In this way they J are free from the monotony of cor rective gymnastics and they can j learn some game from which they can get recreation later in life. C)he Xnfant Qrodigy * * He Would Sit With the Seniors * * To Peter Brooks, president of the To-Ko-Lo: Dear Pete: Now this question of sitting on the senior bench Peto; I don’t like jit a little bit. It’s not that the thing is hard and uncomfortable to sit upon Pete, but its the idea of the thing. Of course, I can say this to you Pete, because we are all under classmen and we .just have to stick together. To put the thing into short notice, I want to see you have ‘this tradition changed as soon as ; you have time. The seniors made this tradition merely because they wanted to give j some outward demonstration of | their dignity. In the fact of that I | know that you might run up against ja little difficulty in putting my demand across; but believe me, old I timer, our whole freshman class is in back of you on this thing. So please don’t go off half-eocked. You have the power to do this even if those seniors have learned the art of pulling many threads by three years of practice at shriek ing on their Profa shoulders. In closing, I would like to say that I have noticed a lot of dust on the slab under discussion of late. The least you can do in this Pete, is to see that they (the seniors) keep their bench clean once in a while.
