Stop for 10 Days Stop brushing teeth in ineffective ways See what new beauty this new way brings Nearly all the world over, leading dentists are advising people to brush teeth in a new way. Millions of people now do it every day. You see the results wherever you look. Teeth now glisten which once were dim. Women have new charm, new beauty. They show teeth when they smile. This is to urge all other people to try this method now. Your dru gist will present you with a ten-day tube. Cease your old methods for a few days and see -vhat this new way does. Why teeth look dingy Your teeth are coated with a viscous film. You feel it with your tongue. It clings to teeth, enters crevices and stays. Food stains, etc., discolor it. So that film, if left, soon forms the basis of thin dingy coats, lartar is based on film. No ordinary tooth paste can ^pctively combat it. So millions of teeth brushed daily were clouded more or less. Film also holds food substance which fer ments and forms acid. It holds the acid in contact with the teeth to cause decay, hilm forms a breeding place for germs. They, with tartar, are the chief cause of pyorrhea. All these troubles were constantly increas ing. Very few escaped. The tooth brush, used in old ways, left much film intact. The war on film Dental science then began a war on film. After long research, two effective film com batants were discovered. Able authorities amply proved their efficiency, then they were announced, and since then leading den tists everywhere have been urging their adoption. One acts to curdle film, one to remove it. And this is done in scientific ways, not by harmful scouring. A new-type tooth paste was created, based on modern research. It brin?s other new results now considered essential. It avoids several old mistakes. In this tooth paste are embodied these two great mm comuauuiw. The name of the tooth paste is Pepsodent. Two other new eifects Pepsodent brings two other effects which research proves essential. It multiplies the starch digestant in the saliva. That is tnere to digest starch deposits which may otner wise ferment and form acids. It multiplies the alkalinity of the saliva. That is Nature’s neutralizer for the acids which cause decay. It was found that tooth pastes based cn soap and chalk brought just opposite euvccs. That is one reason why they proved so in effective. They reduced the tooth-protectif-ft agents which Pepsodent increases many fold. These results mean a new dental era. Th'/ mean that your children need not suiter .vf.w. you suffered from your teeth. The/ mea-i that film-coats can be combated. A few-day test will prove this to you. Make that test in fairness to yourself. Some Fifty Nations Use this new way now Careful people of some fifty na tions now use Pepsodent, largely by dental advice. To millions of women it has brought new charm, new beauty. To men of many races it has brought teeth they love to show. To children it has brought protec tions which your childhood did not know. Present the coupon for a 10-Day Tube. Note how clean the teeth feel after using. Mark the absence or the viscous film. See how teeth whiten as the film-coats disappear. What you see and feel will very soon convince you. You will be de lighted and amazed. Cut out this coupon so you won’t forget, for this test is important.
