'Vitit lavish dressing and pretentious j
wcenery, George White’s “Scandals of
1919” comes to Eugene for the first time
on Monday evening, November 15.
Comedians’ with brains, experience,
genuine dancing ability and rare comic
nimbleness, are only one of the features
of this gigantic production. There are
scenes upon scenes. There’s something
happening all the time but what’s com
ing next nobody guesses. Scene comes
and scene goes and there is something
new with every one of them. There is
anticipation and expectation and gasps of
admiration and “Ohs” of delight, as
every new “Scandal” that is revealed far
exceeds even the wildest anticipations
of the waiting audience. Altogether
there will be sixteen scenes in this re
yue, with elaborate costumes to harmon
ize tfith the gorgeous scenic effects.,
