and Sigma Chis Win.
Doughnut basketball started yesterday
afternoon with four games played in the
fwn men’s gymnasiums. On the out
door court the Kappa Rigs trimmed
Baehelordon, 22-10, while the fast Owl
five took over their same with the
Betas by a one sided snore of Jfc»-7. In
the main gym the Sigma Chi quintet out
pointed the speedy Del's 10-15, and the
Sigma Xus were returned victors over
the Phi Delts 11-4.
The games yesterday unearthed some
very promising basketball material. I.a
I.nnde, forward, end JCinmeripan center
for the Owl Club proved to tic a fast and
effective seoring combination, I.a Londe
securing five goals from the field while
Zimmerman hooped in nine. The speedy
floor work and aeenrate shooting of
Palmer, Wilsey and Douglas for Sigma
Chi featured their contest with Delta Tail

Delta. In the Kappa Rig-Eaohelordon
game Andre, Jtockhey, and Burnett
starred for the Rigs, while Clark, speedy
Bachelor guard proved himself to be a
player who will hear watching.

He said that the overcrowded condition

mand for accountants and that, this was

ing Fresh.
I)r. J. F. Bovard, Dean of the School
physical education, and Miss Robertson,
University nurse have been investigating
the ventilation in the library and have
found a way in which they think that
the air in the library can he kept fresh.
The temperature which facilitates!
study is about 65 degrees. The. electric j
fans are found to have a greater effort
when the -windoxvs near them are closed.
If the windows are open the fresh air

is forced out of the room as soon as it:
enters and is wasted. The fresh air will
enter through the front doors and the
windows in the back of the library which
will be open. The fans will be kept inn*
niug all of the time.
