Green for Undergraduates; Brown on Visitors. Green and brown tags will be tlie means of identification of students and alumni members during Homecoming vreek-eud, according to information giv en out by John- Houston, chairman of the committee in charge of the arrange ments. The green tags with red letters will be worn by the students, while the alumni tags will lie brown in the form of rainatnre footballs and will be letter ed in yellow. The alumni tags will be given out at a booth located on the corner of Fiftli and Willamette -streets down town and also at a booth in Johnson Hall. Stu dents will get their tags at their differ ent living organizations and at the last I assembly proceeding Homecoming. All housing organizations are urged by Houston, to make up the dance pro grams for their guests at the annual Homecoming dance. In previous years a great deal of confusion has been caused by the fact that this Mttle detail has been overlooked and it. is planned to have it eliminated this year if possible. A meeting of all the Homecoming com mittees will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock, in .Dean’Straub’s room in Johnson Hall, according to general chairman Houston. Plans will be dis cussed and the complete program of events outlined. I NEW HULL NAMED FOR WIFE DF PRESIDENT “Susan Campbell” Chosen by Regents for Building. The executive committee of the Bogrcf of Regents of the University at a meet ing Saturday evening, October 23, named the new dorinitou* for women, now near ing completion, “Susan Campbell Hall,” in honor of Mrs. P. L. Campbell. Mrs. Campbell’s keen interest in everything connected with the University, and espc cially in th* has brought her the love and admiration of all who know her. A number of appointments to positions made necessary on account of vacancies occurring at the opening of college, and new appointments to take care <^f in creased enrollment in the University, Were confirmed. President P. L. Campbell, Dr. Richard P>. Dilleliunt. dean of the University of Oregon medical school, and Dr. Harry Beal Torrey, head of the department of zoology and director of medical research in the University, were authorized to go to New York to confer with representa tives of the General Education Board in regard to co-operation between it and the University school of medicine. , ISH ELEVEN PLAYS CHEW OCTOBER 1 Injuries May Change Line-up, Declares Bartlett. The freshman team will journey to Chemawa this week to meet the Indians on their home field. Coach Ken Bartlett says that he expects to take about IS men with him on the trip. The men will leave on the 7:25 Oregon Electric Satur day morning and will return that evening. Coach Bartlett will accompany the tqam. Coach “Baz” Williams will not make the trip. Two of the regular freshman linesmen will probably not be in the game, says Bartlett. Bill Johnson, the husky center of the frosh aggregation was hurt during the game with Pacific last Saturday. Guard “Slim” Johnson may not be able to play. Coach Bartlett also said that he probably would shift Halfback Jordan to an end for the game. 1 The Cliemawa men should have a good team this year, as they have had the ad vantage of a good coach. Emil Hauser is coaching the team as well as playing one of the ends. Hauser played with Carlisle and with Q. A. C. formerly. / The Oregon lineup will probably be about the same as that which started the game against Pacific University Inst week, with a few changes due to injuries.
