The Orcgana wants tn got pictures of
all of the University men who are now
officers in the service of their country,
find for this purpose the following list
is printed. Anybody knowing the names
of any officers not included in this list
is requested to give them to Paul
Spangler at once, and also to report
any addresses which are incorrect.
Spangler also is desirous of obtaining
the names and addresses of all medical
students who may have attended the
University any time.

(.). What is a “Smileage Book?”
A. A “Smileage Book” is a book con
taining conpons entitling the holder to
admission and seat tickets at Liberty
'theatres. Liberty Tents and auditoriums j
under the management of the Commis
sion on Training Camp Activities in Na
tional Guard Camps.
(.). By whom are they issued?
A. By the Military Entertainment
Council of the Commission on Training
Camp Activities, Washington, D. C.
(J. What do “Smileage Books” cost
A. “Smileage Books” are of two
hinds: The first cost $1; the second So.
(J. How many tickets does each book
contain?
A. The $1 “Smileage Book” contains
20 coupons; the $5 book contains 100
coupons.
Q. Where are they good?
A. In all Liberty Entertainments, in
all National Army Cantonments and Na
tional Guard Camps, under the manage
ment of the Commission on Training
Camp Activities.
Q. Are they good in naval stations
and other camps?
A. No. At present they are good only
in Army cantonments and National
Guard camps.
(.„>. Where will “Smileage Books” be
on sale?
A. The books will be on sale by local
entertainment councils throughout the
country and in department stores, drug
stores and various central places of bus
iness.
Q. Are the books to be inscribed by
name to soldiers?
A. There is space for nn inscription
to soldiers by name, blit this is not neces
sary.
Q. Are they transferable?
A. Yes, to soldiers in uniform.
Q. How many theatres have been
built.
A. One permanent theatre seating
o.OOO has been built in eaeh National
Army Cantonment. Two Chautauqua
tents seating 1,800 each have been erect
ed in eaeh National Guard Camp.
Q. Are “Smileage Books” available
for use b.v civilians?
A. Civilians are allowed in these en
tertainments only when accompanied by
a soldier friend with “Smileage” eoupons.
Q. How much money does the Mili
tary Entertainment Council hope to raise
from the sale of ‘‘Smileage Books?”
A. The goal for the drive of the week
of January JSth has been set at 1.000,
000 “Smileage Books,” but if a million
dollars' worth of smiles are good for
our soldier boys, why won't two million
dollars' worth be much better?
Q. llow can I get those “Smileage
Books” to the soldiers?
A. Send them by mail, l.et the next
letter you send to any camp contain a $5
or $1 book; think of the laughter in
those coupons. And of course, if you
have a boy, son, brother, sweetheart or
husband of your own in camp, you will
see that he gets one.
Harvard football enthusiasts recently
subscribed $55l>0 for footballs, to be
sent to the soldiers in France. The
first consignment of 500 balls is already
on its way.—Ex.

of the Red Cross, a new two-hour course
in sociology, “War Relief and Home
service,” will be given this semester.
This course is designed for juniors and
seniors who wish to prepare for Red

Nearly 6000 Yale men are somewhere
in the military service of the United
States. Nearly 5000 of these have been
accounted for. February 22 a service
flag bearing more than 1000 stars will
