As a re ward to the organization presenting the best stunt, Seth Laraway. a Eugene jeweler, has offered a cup which will be presented after the decision of the judges. After the program which will be even cleverer than usual, the remaining hours will be spent in dancing and refresh ments donated by the Weinhard Ice and Storage company will be served. Be sides the Laraway cup, the Woman’s League will give a prize of $2.50 to the girl wearing the cleverest and most original costume. * £ * The members of the Sigma Nu frater nity living in northern Oregon and southern Washington held a banquet on Tuesday evening at the Hotel Portland in honor of the Oregon chapter of the fraternity. The chapter was the first national fraternity to be installed on the campus of the' University of Ore gon. Among those who respond ad to toasts were: Dean H. Hayes, Frank Farrell, Dr. Fred Zeigler, J. K. Knapp, Frank Templeton. Condon Bean, and Thomas A. Burke, Artlu: M. Geary acted as toastmaster. * S £ Kwama held a pledging ceremony on Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. A. C. C. A. ban quet and installation of new officers was announced for Wednesday, April 4, at the regular weekly meeting of the cabinet Tuesday. The banquet, to be held at either the Presbyterian or Christian church, is in charge of a com mittee consisting of Joe I)enn, chair man; Loren Roberts and Paul Spangler. The new' officers ..ill be installed by I. B. Rhodes, secretary of the stale Y. M. C. A. committee. A stereoptican lecture by Nicholas Jaureguy will pro vide part of the entertainment. The slides for this lecture will illustrate the Heabeck summer conference held by members of Y. M. C. A. in the North west last summer. Fourteen men from Oregon attended the conference, and Jaureguy was one of the number. The annual banqu t will be for mem bers, their guests, and any other persons who wish to attend.
