Everett Pixley and A1 Holman were luncheon guests at the Beta Theta Pi house on Friday. * # £ Delta Gamma will entertain on Tues day evening in honor of Miss Anita Tay lor, whose wedding to Harvey Banks Kinnison, of Idaho, will be an event of next Wednesday. Miss Yoran has planned this event to be a Christmas party, and seasonal decora tions will be used. Joe Bell was a dinner guest of Kappa Kappa Gamma on Tuesday evening. Dinner guests of Chi Omega on Wed nesday evening were Dr. and Mrs. E, S. Conklin, Professor and Mrs. F. C. Ayer, and Dean and Mrs. E. W. Allen. « « « Mrs. E. H. Boyer, house mother of Kappa Alpha Theta, left Monday for Waterbury Center, Vermont, where Mrs. Boyer will spend the remainder of the winter with her mother. Mrs. Boyer will return to the University in the fall. # # # The surprise of the week was the an nouncement of the engagements of Veola Peterson. Alpha Phi, to Ivor Ross, Sigma Nu; and Mabel Van Xante, Alpha I'hi, to Oscar Goreczky, Sigma Nu. The en gagements were made known to the Sigma Nu house last Sunday at dinner. * * # Helen Downing has returned to her home. Miss Downing will re-enter the University in February. Dorothy Shockley was a dinner guest at Kappa Kappa Gamma on Friday even ing. AAA Delta Delta Delta entertained with a brother dinner last Sunday. The table was prettily decorated with ivy and Ore gon grape. The guest list included Jake Risley, Wayne Stater, Paul Spangler, Robert Mann, Lloyd Still, Giles Hunter, Warren Wilkins and Earl Bronnugh. £ « « Sunday dinner guests at the Sigma Nu house were President and Mrs. P. Mr. Holman has been ill nt his home in Portland for several months.
