“The Parson of Panamint”
From the Story by Peter B. Kyne
This story portrays life in a typical western mining town—the wild, crude, virile type of manhood and womanhood which pervaded the
scenes of *49. Into this atmosphere comes a young parson, simple-minded, strong-hearted. How Mr. Farnum as the parson subdues the
town; brings cafe rounders and church hypocrites into his fold, regenerating their lives and purifying their thoughts is a portrayal of
surpassing strength and makes a lasting impression on the mind. You should see this photoplay in order to include this masterpiece in
the catalogue of your memory.
