TO SPEAK AT ASSEMBLY
The assembly hour, December li>, will
be given over to a sterioptican lecture on
j “Mountain ('limbing”, by Frank Branch
Kiley, president of the Mazamas, of
I’ortland.
The slides will cover various’ phases
of mountain climbing and will include
views of recent Mazama trips. They will
be of special interest to students of zoo
ology, botany, and geology.
President Campbell, who has heard
Mr. Iiiley lecture, says of him:
“Mr. Kiley is a delightfully entertain
ing speaker. His previous lectures have
been charming in every detail. The hour
will lie instructive as well as amusing
and no student can afford to miss it.”
Mr. and Mrs. Riley—who will come
with him are both Stanford graduates.

“Germany’s Entrance into War.”
