deville by the different houses and
organizations.
Don Orput, in “Nocturnal Grid
ironitis,” held the audience attentive
and often cheering. It was a pro
phetic dream, in which he went
.through today’s game in monologue.
He was “seein’ things” and telling
aloud what he saw—the exultant en
thusiasm that was his in seeing Ore
gon, in his dream, win by 13 to 0.' It
wts vivid, realistic.
Next Wallace- Martyn gave a “wild
»dance” and ‘fgot by.”
The Phi Delts, represented by Mau
rice Bigbee, as the farmer 0. A. C.
’76 alumnus, and Carson Bigbee and
Claire Henderson as the cow, gave a
milking scene, in which the cow
backed up and sat down on the stool.
On the cow was the sign: “This is
no bull.” The cow was not milked.
Ralph Ash and Carl Naylor an
swered to the A. T. O. place on the
program, and they “pulled college
stuff,” making Naylor fall again and
once more into Ash’s arms, as each
joke hit him in the face. The audi
ence laughed.
Maurice Hyde, Walter Grebe, and
Verne Aperson constituted “a fifty
piece band that had made a tour of
the world in 47 weeks in Lebanon.”
They played the cornet, trombone and
snare drum, and lo! music there was.
Merlin Hatley, for the Sigma Nu3,
“spoke a piece,” and set forth the dif
ficulty of pigging at O. A. C. He
was applauded with approval.
Mandell Weiss, Doc Sutton and Wal.
ter Grebe had black stuff all over their
faces—they were black-face comedi
ans. who jested cut-upingly.
“Sunday School” was the stunt of
Delta Tau Delta, and every Biblical
question asked by the teacher, Edison
Marshall, evoked answers bearing on
the big game, making the audience
laugh. “Hezdek Wants Me for a
Rooter” was sung to a familiar Sun
day School air, and a “Mooly Cow Al
falfa Hay” 0. A. C. yell was given
by the knee-trousered Sunday School
ers.
Sigma Chi put on a chorus girl
stunt, in which Wallace Martyn led
the cjiorus with cane in hand, sing
ing ‘Camp Meeting Band.” The
“girls” serpentined.
Beta Theta Pi’s act was a musical
comedy—meller drammer, in which
chorus girls were gowned appropri
ately—and the vallain hid behind a
willow because he said he kissed her.
The audience laughed.
Robert McMurray, Alex Bowen dna
John Bull, for Kappa Sigma, did a
magician act, with McMurray as the
deft-fingered presto-artist, Bowen as
his humorously made-up assistant, and
Bull as the colored servant. Bowen’s
sneezing brought forth many a laugh,
and McMurray and Bull carried their
parts well.
The Iota Chi contribution to the ev
ening's fun was a moving picture
sho won the screen, showing live stock
and two locomotives that collided and
re-collided.

ACT THREE
Scene: Kincaid Field.
Almost before the crowd from Vil
lard could reach Kincaid Field sky
rockets began coming from that di
rection and the huge pile of debris
soaked with tar and oil, and surmount
ed by a large sign, “You know us,
Aggies.” From various parts of tha
pile a dozen sky rockets swished into
the sky to burst in beautiful colors
above the fii;e. ' . «
A crowd, which had been" waited for
two hours on the field to witness the
conflagration and the crowd 700
strong which filled Villard Hall made
one of the largest throngs that ever
witnessed a similar event. As the fire
gained headway the Frosh serpen
tined around and gave Oregon yells
till the blaze reached its height and
slowly abated, concluding the most
successful rally Oregon has ever seen.

mighty hard game tomorrow.”
An analysis of comparative scores
does pot give O. A. C. a very large
advantage.
The Orange and Black and the Lem
on and Yellow both defeated W. S.
C. 7 to 0; both had about the same
difficulty in turning the trick. O. A. C.
beat Idaho 26 to 0, while “Bez’s” pro
teges had difficulty in rolling up 13
to 0. This must be elaborated upon,
however. Oregon met the Gem Stat
ers in their own lair and before their
own friends; O. A. C. met Idaho in
Portland, and got all the breaks of the
game. Two of the touchdowns were
the direct results of' the intercepting
of forward passes.
Dobie beat Oregon 10 to 0, and
O. A. C. held the Purple and Gold to
a scoreless tie. However, the condi
tions were essentially different. Do
bie claims that he could have beaten
O. A. C. by four touchdowns in Se
attle.
These analogies are not meant to
give the impression that Oregon has
performed as creditably as O. A. C.
has so fav, but that there is plenty
of room fo" contention
The excursion will be run over the
Corvallis and Eastern track and the
train stops within 50 yards of the
field. The team will travel on this
train. This will not give them much
time for practice, bui this arrange

ularly all season will be taken on the
trip.
