Want* More Men Next #
Time . ° <
Yell Chief Vosper, with the assist
ance of Don Orput and Jack Dolph,
assembled the masculine side of the
Student Body for the first yell prac
tice last Thursday. The only lacking
feature seemed to be the Frosh, who
were corraled at the class meeting
in Dr. Straub’s room and who marched
over to the field later 150 strong.
“I want more men to come out here
and yell,” says the chief. “They must
yell. It is not only for the games,
but to liven up the Student Body and
to create some spirit. We want to
bury all the old stuff and get some
new pep and ginger into the rooting
this fall.
“If possible, I want to have one
meeting a week, probably Tuesday ev
ening, of both men and women, in Vil
lard, to practice both yells and songs.
This will help to get the Student Body
together and instil pep as nothing
else can”
