ams in English and History.
Examinations for highest honors
in History and in English Litera
ture will be given Wednesday after
noon in Professor Howe’s room,
number three Deady, at four o’clock
Barbara Booth and Martina Thiele
will compete for honors in History.
Those taking the English Literature
examination are William Cass, Edith
Clements, Norma Dobie, Henry Fow
ler, Maude Mastic, Aline Noren and
Marguerite Rankin.
The committee appointed to con
duct the examinations will consist
of Professors Schafer, Clark, O’Hara
Ayer, Allen, Thornsternberg, Howe
and Miss Watson.
A number of recitals are to be
given under the auspices of the Mu
sic Department of the University, by
the advanced students in piano,
voice, and violin, on Thursday,
June 4, in Villard hall at 8:00 o’
clock.
Carol Wagner of Ashland is a
guest at the Phi Delta Theta house.
Myrtle Gram is visiting at the
Kappa Alpha Theta house.
