Mrs. Carpenter, the grand presi
dent of Kappa Alpha Theta, was at
the Kappa Alpha Theta house on
Saturday. In the evening some of the
faculty and seniors of the University
were invited to call to meet Mrs.
Carpeater.
Mrs. King, who is a Delta Gamma
of Portland, spent the week-end at
the Delta Gamma house.

A banquet, in commemoration of
founders day of Delta Delta Delta,
was given in the tea room of the Os
born hotel on Monday evening, at
which all of the members of the
Oregon chapter were present.

Jane Knox was visiting in Eugene
during the week-end.

Myrtle Garland will be at the
Kappa Alpha Theta house until the
Thanksgiving vacation.

Mrs. Johns visited her daughter,
Helen, at the Gamma Phi Beta
house, on her way south.

Anita Slater has been called home
on account of the death of her
father.

Charlie Fenton went to Portland
where she will remain until after
Thanksgiving vacation.

Mrs. Bancroft has been called'
east on account of the illness of her
son. Miss Guppy is acting as house
mother of the Mary Spiller house
during her absence.
