HOWE WILL SPEAK ON SHAKESPEARE CRITICS The Choral Club Will Make Their First Appearance Before the Regular Assembly. Professor Herbert Crombie Howe, of the English department of the Uni versity, will speak at the regular As sembly tomorrow morning on “The Ins and Outs of Shakespeare Critic ism.” Professor Howe has spoken at As sembly on several previous occasions, and has proven a popular speaker be fore the students. The first public appearance of the Woman’s Glee Club will constitute a part of the program. The organiza tion has been practicing faithfully un der the direction of Mr. Bowman, and will appear frequently at student gatherings hereafter. Their first number has been announced as “Spring Beauties.” Miss Florence Avery, president of the organization, declared that encores would not be needed. CLASS PRESIDENTS ACT Sophomore Hour Postponed; Fresh man and Sophomore Committees are Named. President Ed. Bailey of the Senior class has appointed no new commit tees since the last class meeting, and is contemplating no further meetings of the class until the committee on the class play is ready to report. Dell Stannard, president of the .Junior class, has appointed Vernon Mitschenbaeher chairman of the Class Day Committee, which includes two other members, Flora Dunham and May Norton. President Hardesty of the Sopho more class announces that the Soph omore hour has been postponed till December 18. The Freshman class president, Bob Prosser, hus appointed Howard Lind say chairman of the Freshman class hour committee, which will consist of two more members chosen by the chairman. Y.W.G.A. HOLDS BAZMR Hope to ItaiNe $250 by Christmas Sole of Needlework and Dainty Pastries. With the possibilities to raise un additional $250 for the Bungalow fund, members of the college Y. W. C. A. are quite enthusiastic over a bazaar planned for Friday afternoon. This is to occur in the Central Pres byterian Church from 1 until 8 o’clock. On sale at attractive booths will be a great variety of articles j ranging from pastry to needlework.
