Dual Meet Scheduled for Saturda; May Give Line on Varsity Maternal. The Oregon Freshmen will try thei mettle against Eugene High Schoo in a track and field meet, which i scheduled for Saturday afternoon nex on Kincaid field. The meet should prove of mon than ordinary interest, as the oppos ing teams seem to be evenly matched The local preppers number severa good men in their aggregation, in eluding Jenkins, Skip worth, Vickers and Dixon. Jenkins is reckoned on< of the fastest high school sprinters ir the state, while Skipworth has dom 21 feet in the broad jump. Vickers ran second in the interscholastic quar ter at the recent Columbia meet. The Frosh, however, are practicing hard and hope to subdue the ambi tious prepers. They have already trimmed the Sophs in Hayward’s re cent try-out, and in addition capturec the inter-class relay and cross-countrj runs. All the events on the program will be contested. The meet will start a1 2:30 and a toll of twenty-five cents will be levied on the spectators. The following list of officials has been announced: Referee—“Bob” Kellogg. An athletic carnival brought $400 to the athletic association at Yale. It will be used in continuing the con struction of a concrete fence around Rollins field. The sum will pay for about 140 feet of fence. Honor economic students of the University of Arizona have been called upon to assist the local legis lature in the preparation of new laws. Owen M.
