MRS. JANINE GOODFELLOW, 29, mother of three,

BUILDING EYED Plans were announced this week for a new Oregon Histor
ical Center in downtown Portland. President of the Oregon State Historical So
ciety Chandler Brown said the building will contain 60,000 square-feet of ex
hibit and library space to house Oregon treasures gathered during the last cen
tury. It will cost more than a million dollars.
