Sealed bids in duplicate for the con
struction of an addition of the Sutherlin
Senior High School, Sutherlin, Oregon
for School District 130-C, Douglas
County,- will be received by Mr. A. L,
Loerts, District Clerk, at the District
Office at 110 E. Central Street, Suther
lin, Oregon until 8:00 P.M., Pacific
Standard Time, November 5, 1963.
The plans, specifications and other con
tract documents may be examined and
copies thereof may be obtained at the
office of Payne and Stnjble, A.I.A., Ar
chitects, 1005 East Main Street, Med
ford, Oregon, and from the Office of,
the District Clerk at Sutherlin, Oregon.
A deposit of 525.00 per set of drawings
and specifications will be required. Arty
bidder upon returning his set promptly
will be refunded his deposit and any
non-bidder upon returning his set will
be refunded one-half of his deposit.
This protect Involves the construction
of a wood frame structure ot approxi
mately 4,740 square feet.
All classifications will be covered under
the General Contract Proposal.
Attention is called to the bidders Pre-
qualification requirements of Sections;
279.010 to 279.026, Inclusive, Oregon Re
vised Statutes, which must be tiled with
the Clerk 10 days before date for open
ing of bids and tor which forms may be
obtained at the off" of the Architect.
A base bid and two alternates are re
quired. All proposals must be accom
panied by a certified check, cashier's
check, or bid bond made payable to
School District 130-C in an amount of
not less than 50b of the bid.
The successful bidder will be required
to furnish a faithful performance bond
In full amount of the contract price in
accordance with Oregon Revised Statute,
279.510. :
The successful bidder shall carry Work
men's Compensation Insurance protect-!
ing his employees, and will be required:
lo carry Public Liability Insurance cov
ering himself, his employees, also School
District 130-C, its officers, agents and
employees to the minimum amount of
150,000 for lnuries to one person and
100,000 minimum for one accident.
He shall carry property damage insur
ance in a minimum amount of $50,000
with a broad contractor's form of en
dorsement attached, protecting himself,
his employees, School District 130-C,
its officers, agents and employees. All
such Insurance policies shall have en
dorsements thereon requiring notice to
School District 130-C of at least 10 days
arior tp cancellation of any such in-
turance. i
