service is provided to California Pacific Utilities Com
pany. California Pacific Utilities Company, in turn, pro
vides retail service to homes, stores, churches, schools,
businesses and industries of Roseburg.

becoming increasingly popular. During the past decade
in the United States, consumer demands for natural gas
have increased more than have demands for all other
fuels combined. Natural gas"now supplies 31.5 of the nation's
energy and serves 34,000,000 homes.
