Commercial Entries
Win Awards At Fair
Recognition was given at this
year's Douglas County Fair to out
standing exhibits in the commercial
category in the form of trophy
presentation to four winning dis
plays. According to Hazel Bird of tho
fair staff, the increasing excel
lence of the commercial section
called for this innovation. Judging
on the basis of design, color and
general attractiveness was done by
a panel of professional display artists.
Out of a total of 75 commercial
exhibits, four received the honor
of capturing the first of such
awards. Winners were Modern
Floor Covering, Carl Peetz Chain
Saw, Studio of Hair Design and
Reynolds-Rushton Music Co.
