Sets Benefit Social The Tenmile Volunteer Fire De partment met Friday at the home of Fire Chief Ted Benedict and made final plans for the Ice cream social to be held as a benefit for the department. Date was set for Sunday, Aug. 4, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the park on the K. D. Lockwood ranch in Tenmile. According to Mrs. Walter Coats, correspondent, those attending should turn off Heston Hoad at the Lockwood Road sign and follow markers which will be erected. Tickets are now on sale at Ten- mile business establishments and at Winston and will also be avail able at the park Sunday.
