William T. Evani Jr. is back at
his home in liuschurg, following
a trip from the west coast through
the Panama Canal and up the East
coast to Camden. Philadelphia,
Newark and Brooklyn, where the
ship was unloaded with the cargo
of lumber. From there the ship
went to Mobile, Ala., to take on a
cargo of flour for Egypt. In Mo
bile Evans was given an honorary
citizenship to the City by Mayor
Charles S. Trimmier, who is poten
tate there and was made a life
member of Abba Temple. After
leaving Mobile, the ship docked
briefly In Cuela, Spanish Morocco,
then went into Port Said. Egypt.
From there Evans tlew to Cairo
via United Arab Lines. En route
back to New York, lhe ship slop
ped a short time at Agusta, Sicil
ly. Mrs. Evans spent the t w o
months while Evans has been gone,
in California. She spent Mothers
weekend in Oak View, Calif., al
the home of their son, Tyler Evans,
and family.
