In other league action, Yakima clobbered second-place Salem 12-0 and Lewiston edged Eugene 4-3 inj a 12-inning encounter. The piggy-backers came from Wenatchee Valley Junior College and they made 60 trips across the field .via the fences during the nine-inning game. The added attraction didn't bother the Braves they pushed acrcss four runs in the eighth, two of them on pitcher Lee Feath erstone's double to win the game. Bob Rudd and Gary Johnson blasted solo homers for the win ners and Ken Fruchter homered for Wenatchee. Six of Yakima's 14 hits went for extra bases as Roger Roy earned his second straight shutout with a four-hitter. Roy walked none and struck out seven and retired the first 14 men he faced.
