Coble is a former resident of the area. They are presently making their home in the Green community. Hatfield of Rt. 1 Box 556, Roseburg, is presently a pa tient in the Rogue Valley Hospital in Medford. He underwent surgery Monday after suffering a broken hip which he sustained in a fall at the Ben Dawson home in Ash land. Hatfield will be hospitalized for ffom 10 days to two weeks. Cards may be sent to him in care of the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Orloff of this city were in Salem over Sunday, where the former attended the bi monthly meeting of masseurs. Mrs. Orlnff was co-hostess for the noon luncheon, which followed the morning workshop. A guest mas seur from Germany attended the meeting and gave demonstrations of techniques used in his country. (Vivian) Roberts of Sumner, Wash., died May 2, ac cording to word received here by friends. Mrs. Roberts and her first husband, Clifford Keach, who died several years ago, lived on Keas ey Road for a number of years. She is survived by her widower; lu daughters. Marilyn Milot and Jean Lane of Eureka, Calif.; a step-son Donald Roberts, Sumner; three sisters, a brother and. six grandchildren.
