(Picture by Wilson Studio). Fair Oaks Pinochle Club Hosted Saturday Evening Gladys Ollivant and Dennis Smith at a two o'clock ceremony Sun day afternoon. Oct. 22, at the Look ingKlass Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. N. Currier in the presence of approximately 100 friends and relatives. The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Olli vant of Roseburg and the bride groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hobcrt Dutton of Salem. A pair of tall candelabra flanked by large baskets of white pom mums lormed a background for the service. The center aisle was outlined with blue and white pew bows. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was charming in a floor-length gown of white flocked nylon fashioned with lowered waist line and bouffant skirt. The bodice featured a scalloped neckline and long sleeves terminating in points with five button closing. Her fin ger tip veil was held in place by a pearl-studded bandeau and she carried a cascade spray of white pom mums centered with a yellow throated white orchid. Miss Linda Ollivant, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and wore a blue flocked nylon street- length gown fashioned with a low ered waistline, full skirt, bateau neckline and short sleeves. She carried a bouquet of white carna tions sprayed with blue. Robert Dutton of Salem, step father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were James and Keith Anderson, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. The ushers also served as randlelighters. Incidental misic and the tradi tional marches were played by Mrs. Robert Schulze, who also ac companied her sister, Mrs. James Taylor who sang "Always" preced ing the ceremony and "The Lord I Prayer" at the close of the serv ice The bride was graduated from Roseburg High School in 1959 and has been employed by the Mark's Drug and Department Store. The bndegroom attended schools in Sa lem and served four years in the U. S. Navy. He is presently em ployed by the State Highway De partment. Following a short honeymoon trip, the couple will be at home at 934 SE Terrace Ave., Roseburg. and she wore the orchid from her bouquet. For her daughter's marriage. Mrs. Ollivant chose a blue lace gown with black accessories and a pink carnation corsage. Mrs. Dut ton wore a brown print gown with matching accessories and a white carnation corsage. Flowers for the wedding were provided by Mrs. A. A. Jacoby of the Lookingglass Nursery.
