Thur., Nov. 2, 1961 Market Quota Exemption Ends 1481 OR The 1J acre marketing quota ex emption for wheat production in no InnRer in effect, Curtij Barker, chairman of the Douglas County Agricultural Stabilization and Con servation Committee, laid thii week. Under the 1962 wheat stabiliza tion program, no exemption will be offered for a farm which has no 1962 wheat allotment and which did not have wheat for harvest in any one of the three yean. 1959. 1960, and 1961. On such a farm, the en tire harvested wheat acreage would be subject to marketing quo ta penalty. Barker aaid. The marketing quota exemption for i farm is the (mailer of either 13.5 acrei or the highest acreage the farm had for harvest in the 3-year period, 1959 1960 or 1961. Wheat harvested within a farm allotment may be marketed free of the marketing quota penalty. If the wheat harvested exceeds the allotment or exemption, which ever is higher, the penalty will be computed on acreage in excesi of the allotment. (AP)-The Berlin issue is an explosive situa tion that could easily touch off an all-destructive nuclear war be tween the United States and Rus sia, says Sen. Wayne Morse, D Ore. In an interview Tuesday night, Morse called on the world's two leading nations to make use of the judicial machinery of the United Nations to settle the Berlin crisis.; "Berlin is a desperate situation that could easily lead to a nuclear war which would destroy both aides and probably leave Red China in control of the world," Morse aaid. "The only hope for permanent peace throughout the world ia an international judiciary through which all world problems are sub mitted," he added. The senator said one solution could be to make Berlin an Inter national city with U.N. Jurisdic tion. Clergyman Attends Choir Festival The Rev, Alfred S.
