THE EXHIBIT BUILDING, covering an oae of area at
the Douglas County Fairgrounds, was turned into a com
munity store for seven Roseburg merchants Thursday for
a 10-day "co-op sale." This is a new idea in cooperative
merchandising promotions, which the sponsors hope to
expand into a future community-wide event to emphasize
Roseburg as the shopping center of Douglas County and
to encourage residents not to go out of the county to shop.
