Nation's Papers Join
In Salute To Newsboys

nation in saluting those young per
sons who are responsible for the
"final step" in the daily process
of brining a newspaper product to
readers.
National Newspaperboy Day
pays tribute to American news
paper carriers, the youths who
sponsored an event honoring car
riers for the News-Review, Port
land Oregonian and Oregon Jour
nal. This year's program was a
fun-filled "Jamboree" at which the
boys were fed and participated in
a full schedule of recreation events.
