IT'S PICNIC TIME
Sere we suggest a menu of
mugs (paper cups) of hot ruby
red tomato soup. This is poured
from a large vacuum bottle, filled
to the top with the canned con
densed kind. Before leaving
home, fill small handy paper con
tainers with MEXICAN SPA
GHETTI made with canned spa
ghetti in tomato tauca with
cheese. This carries well when
the tops for the containers are
made with aluminum foil or plas
tic wrap.

It's Summertime...
Let's Eat Outdoors
Porcelain enamel, finish
which does not rust, fade or
discolor, is the perfect material
lor outdoor grills. This glass,
fused-to-metal is as tough as the
Bteel itself and as easy to clean
as your finest china plate.
A chuck steak, cooked over an
ordinary grill, will cause a lot of
r
after-cooking fuss because of Its
dripping. If you baste it frequent
ly, as in this recipe for a Heaven
ly Steak Bun, the fuss will be
even greater.
When the porcelain enamel
grill has cooled, it is simple to
swish it clean with a damp cloth.
And you can leave the grill out-of-doors
in all weather with no
fear of rust.
Heavenly Steak Bans
Buy a 5-6 pound chuck steak
and marinate for 12 hours In the
refrigerator. Broil over glowing
coals 20-30 minutes per.pound, de
pending on rareness desired and
thickness of steak. Brush fre
quently with marinade. When
steak is cooked, slice diagonally
and place slices in toasted frank
furter rolls which have been
spread with blue cheese butter.
Top with sliced tomato and let
tuce, season and serve hot.
