For Mrs. Richard Naas
Mrs. Richard A. Naas, the for-
mer Norma Barker, was honored
recently at a bridal shower at the
Glide Community Club.
The hall was beautifully decor
ated with huge bouquets of spring
flowers and the gift table was cen
tered by a pastel covered umbrel
la from which were suspended
fresh flower blossoms.
After games and the opening of
the gifts, delicious refreshments
were served by the hostesses, Mrs.

Four winners of the Alyrtle
Creek marble tournament were
honored, together with their fam
ilies Friday night, by the. annual
marble tournament sponsors, the
Myrtle Creek V.F.W. and Auxili
ary. Post No. 7752.
The four boys honored were Rick
Abrahamson, Herbert Sims, Allan
Gardner, and Joe Hiteshew, first
through fourth place winnens, re
spectively. All were present ex
cept Herbert bims.
A large cake donated by the Myr
tie Creek Bakery inscribed, "Con
gratulalions Boys," was served to
the 35 present. Air. and Airs. Hal
W. Schiltz were guests of honor.

buds. Harold Woolley gave his daugh
ter in marriage. She was charm
ing in a waltz-length gown of tulle
accented with wide bands of lace.
The all-lace bodice was designed
with long sleeves of lace with a
modified scoop neckline trimmed
with sequins. She wpre a minia
ture crown of lace and irridescent
sequins and pearls to hold in place
her veil of imported illusion, sue
wore a Dear! necklace, a gift of
her father. Her bouquet was of
white carna'tions and orchids.
Aliss Gary Tranberg, maid of
