Mrs. Edwin Myers has returned
to her work in the office of the
Lumber and Sawmill Workers Un
ion after a trip to Long Beach,
Calif., to see her daughter, Mrs.
Bruce Michels, receive her diplo
ma of graduation from Long
Beach State College. She was ac
companied on the trip by her
daughter, Sallv, a student at Ore
gon State College. The family
enjoyed a stay at Las Vegas. Nev.
following the graduation. Mrs. My
ers and her two daughters arrived
in Roseburg Friday, Michels fol
lowing a day later. Lt. and Mrs.
Michels left Wednesday for Salem
to visit relatives before Laving
for Washington. D. C, where he
will be stationed with the U. S.
Navy in the Bureau of Personnel
in the Pentagon Annex. He will be
there a year. Mrs. Myers and Sal
lv plan to go to Salem this coming
weekend to see Lt. and Mrs. Mi
chels before they leave.

here from Sunnyvale, Calif., to
spend the weekend with the Paul
Kruegers. Lackey is Mr. Kruger's
son. Gary went on to Ontario,
where he will spend the remainder

parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Blan-ton.
