Band parents are to meet in the library at 7 p.m., prior to the PTA meeting. After the business meet ing, the school rooms will be open for Washington School Open House. Refreshments will be served. April's meeting will be by-passed in favor of the Science Fair and PTA dinner, April 10. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to g p.m. at the Washington School. Proceeds will go to the college tuition schol arship given by Oakland PTA each year to an Oakland High student majoring in eoucauon. Mr. and Mrs. Witter Bowers have left for their home in Cush ing, Minn., following the last 10 days here visiting the latter's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith. The Bowers vis ited here for a couple of weeks earlier and then went to Washing ton to visit before returning here for the last 10 days. The Bowers reside on Alexandra Lake in Cush ing. Dick Perrin, of Centralia, Wash., arrived jn Roseburg Wednesday to take his wife and small daughter, Jeri Lynn, back home with them.
