residents. While there they visited

town. Brittain drove down with
the family, remaining only over
night. Mrs. Brittain and the boys
returned by plane.

spent the past weekend visting
friends at Idanha near Detroit
Sam, where they found three inch
es of snow.

were in Eugene over the weekend
when the foremer joined his son,
Bruce, for Dad's weekend on the
University of Oregon campus. The

Mr. and Mrs. Ike Thompson of
npringneia visum at the Dennis
llisaw home in Wolf Creek and at
the John Thompson home in (Men
dale. On Saturday afternoon, Mrs.
llisaw received word that her sis
ter's daughter had been killed in
an auto accident. The Thompsons
drove Mrs. llisaw to the home of
another sister in California. The
Thompsons returned to Springfield
on Monday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith of
federal Way, Wash., former Glen
dale residents, are the parents of a
girl, Shellie Marie, born Feb. 5.
She weighed almost 7'i pounds.
