14 Tho News-Review, Roscburg, Ore Frl., Jon. 20, 1961 Work Session Held By Circle By PHEBE McGUIRE A meeting of the Woodmen Circle Work Basket was held at the home o( Mrs. Viola White in Winston, recently with mcinhers hemming tea towels, embroidering and piec ing a quilt.. A report was made on the wel fare breakfasts that have been held vilh another scheduled at the home of Marjorie Doyle, Jan. ,31, between the hours of 8 and 10 a.m. Tentative plans were discussed for a progressive dinner to be held in the near future. Prepara tions were completed regarding the rummage sale, which will be held at the Roscburg Women's Club house, Saturday at 9 a.m. It was reported the Umpqua Grove 51 social meeting will be held Monday at the home of Gertie Hess in Roscburg wilh Kvelyn Croucher and Ann Strong as co hostesses. The next meeting of the Work Basket will be held Feb. 21 at the home of Phebe McGuire in Win ston, with Alma Walker and Mar jorie Doyle as co-hostesses. Following the business meeting refreshments were served by the hostess, Viola White. RUMMAGE SALE SET A rummage sale will be held Saturday at the Women's club house in Roseburg.
