She and her husband have been enjoying a vacation in California, where they attended the Hose bowl football game. Her husband re turned to Minnesota and she came on to Roseburg to visit Mrs. Hel wcg. Delbert Thompson of McGrath, Alaska, have been visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. nnd Mrs. I. B. Thompson over the holi days and also visited his niece and nephew in Mcdford and a niece, Mable Kalzmarck, in Rose burg. It has been eight years since he has been out of Alaska.' He spent 57 years in Alaska, where he did mostly mining. He has left here for Harrisburg and Estacada to visit another brother and a sis ter before returning to Alaska.
