Sally Sprig
Hi pops! This column is for pops
only no one else. My pop asked
me to give you other pops a mes
sage about new Sprig pop. I told
him to write it and I'd run it.
Her it is:
"Dear Pops: My gal Sal has the
ice box overflowing -villi Spris. So
I thought I'd experiment with it
mixed. I gave it a rough test. I've
had some cheap whiskey on hand
because it was rough-tasting. A
shot of this booze over ice, filled
with new Sprig was a long shot
I tried it gingerly. MAN what
a smooth highball it made! It 'was
so good I tried it with a top label
the boss gave me. This drink was
really a dream.
"Having a big imagination I
gave it a novel name. My choice
a sprig til. sany lams nue uiai.
Try one tonight. It has distinctive
-flavor and the right degree of
-sweetness-tartness. The sparkles
hit you. Well that's my brain
storm without charge. Drink to
Sally and me and I'll be re
warded. Goodbye, Pop Sprig."
So pops there's my pop talk
ing. And you should know more
about pop than pop, himself. Out
of the pop's mouth, so to speak.
Pop that Sprig pop into your
mouth, and you'll see what pop
means. See you! ; i
