Gorgeous orchids including red and green cyprepediums, fuchsia, purple and brown vandas, white cattleyas, brown odontogossum and purple cattleyas, raised by the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Donald Rudat, of Santa Rosa, Calif., formed the bouquets for the bride, her attendants, both mother's corsages and the corsages for these assisting at the reception. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Simonson chose emerald green peau de soi ond the bridegroom's mother wore turquoise peau de soi, both mothers wore corsages of yellow and brown vandas. Perrin, who were among winners of West ern Auto men winning a trip to San Juan and other points of inter est in the Caribbean this last fall, entertained dealers and their wives at a delightful buffet dinner party at their beautiful home in Hucrest Thursday evening. Five of the invited Western Auto men and their wives were also win ners of the trip and included Mr. and Mrs. Jim McCarty of Empire and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Haverner, Coquille. Other Western Auto men and their wives enjoying the affair included Mr. and Mrs. Bill How larid of Cave Junction; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hall of Myrtle Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davis, Rose burg; Mr. and Mrs. Sandy AIc Bride. Sutherlin; Mr. and Mrs. Stem Wessla of Keedsport; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Winningham of Myrtle Point and John Sampson of Flor ence. A social hour preceded the buf fet dinner, which was served at 8 o'clock. Following the dinner, all of those making the Caribbean trip showed pictures tney Mad taken. The trip was by jet to Miami, Fla., where the group enjoyed a tour before going to the Caribbean points of interest. They were enter tained at some of the finest ho tels during their trip. Perrin is an official of Western Auto. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Perrin entertained at a delightful New Year's Eve party and buffet dinner at their home having as guests Mr. and Mrs. G. Al. Krell, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Burr, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Doty of Eugene; Mr. and Mrs. E G. Randolph of Medford and Mr. and Mrs. Ed ward Adams. A pleasant social eve ning followed the dinner. Christian Women's Club Has Meeting On Wednesday The Rosehurg Christian Women's Club met Wednesday at the Bam boo House on Diamond Lake Boul evard. Lovely ornaments, several Na tivity scenes and a lighted church graced the tables and carried out the Christmas theme. A vocal group from Roseburg High School, under the direction of Robert Robins, entertained the club with a beautiful medley of Christmas carols. Mrs. Watson Talcott of Glide demonstrated the technique of gift wrapping and displayed some charmingly wrapped and decorat ed packages of her own. Village missionaries, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ballanti of Green Acres, Ore., were featured speakers. The next meeting will also be held at the Bamboo House Jan. 11. Margie Musick I: Now Mrs. Hatren The Presbyterian Church in Tri City was the scene Dec. 27 of the 8 p.m. double ring wedding cere mony uniting in marriage Margie Musick of Winston and Robert Hat ten of Spokane, Wash. The Rev. Stanley Barlow of the Westminster House at University of Oregon per formed the nuptial service. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Musick of Winston. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs.' Marvin Hatten of Yak ima, Wash. Poinsettias, fir and holly formed the church decorations. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was charming in her floor-length bridal gown, fashioned with a full satin skirt and lace bod ice with long sleeves. Her waist length veil was secured by a tiara. Her bouquet was of red roses and chrysanthemums. Georgia Musick, sister-in-law of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Joan Ferguson of Eugene and Heidi Jones and Judy Pigg, both of Portland. All wore full-skirted frocks having puffed sleeves. Mrs. Musick's dress was red and the others were green. Each carried a white fur muff. Mark Hatten of Yakima was best man. Ushers were Jim Musick, brother of the bride; Jim Deller and David Doud. After the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the church. Mrs. Millie Doud cut the cake, Mrs. Aline Palo presided at the punch bowl and Mrs. Maxine Crow served coffee. Miss Gloria Burnett had charge of the guest book and Mrs. Joan Dun had charge of gifts. The bride was graduated from Myrtle Creek High School and Uni versity of Oregon. The bridegroom is presently attending school in Pullman, Wash., as a senior student. The bridegroom's aunt, Mrs, Donald Rudat, had grown and arranged the orchids in the bride's bouquet and lor the honorary corsages. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Virginia Myers, Mrs. Paul Anderson, Mrs. Emery Williams, Mrs. Delton Walker and Mrs. Wood row Wilson. For travel ing, the bride wore a green and black plaid coat and dress with black blouse, black shoes and bag and orange gloves and scarf. The young people will make their home at Kingsville, Tex., while Lt, Good win attends USMC let flight school, The bride was graduated from Roseburg High School and Stan ford University. The bridegroom was graduated from liurlingame High School in ualilornia and was graduated from Stanford University wun a Dacneior of science degree in engineering. Beights of Eugene was a most delightful host Christmas Day in Eugene when he entertained a son. and five daughters and their families at a reunion dinner in Eu gene. This was the first time in 23 years that all family members had been together for Christmas. After dinner, the family attended church as a group. Present for the affair were Air. and Airs. R. Al.
