LEWIS BINTLIFF Air. and Airs. Krancis Welly and family of Wilbur entertained a number of out-of-town guests dur ing Christmas week. Their son, Bill who has been working at Tulelake, Calif., ac companied his aunt, Mis. Doris Ackicy and three sons to the Welty home for a short visit. Then the Weltys and their guests went on to AleClary, Wash., for a family reunion at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Welty, on Christmas. While in Washington the Weltys also visited their daughter, Mrs. Wayne Lillie, and familv at Elma. Other house guests of the Welty family prior to Christmas were her brother, Frank Rostollan, and wife who are leaving this area to make their home in Arkansas. An other daughter, Mrs. Ralph Rudzik, and family of Corvallis joined the Weltys for a late Christmas cele bration. House Rented James Snyder and family have rented the Doug Hart home at Wil bur. He is employed by Roseburg Lumber Co. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Carlson and two daughters of Aliiton-Freewa-ler were recent house guests of .Mr. and Mrs. Ron Ronholdt. Also visiting them is his brother, Gene Ronholdt, who is on leave from Fort Ord, Calif. He will leave for duty in Korea after returning to California. Mrs. M. A. Mohler and two sons of Astoria have been visiting the Everett Blondell and Ed Blondell families for the past week. Mrs. Lewis Bintliff has been re cuperating at her home the past week after being hospitalized for flu and bronchial infection. Word has been received in Wil bur of the birth of a son, Charles Clav, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles iiackett, Dec. 19, at McMinnville. The baby weighed 9 pounds. Mrs. Hackett is the former Gail Crit tenden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Crittenden of Coles Valley Road. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Hackett of Powers. Laury Harvey is spending a 14-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Harvey. He is stationed at Fort Ord. Also home on leave from Ft.
