Milne, son of Mrs. R. C. Evans of Roseburg, has been selected to receive the Pepsodent Presidential Scholarship. Milne is a freshman in pharmacy at Ore gon Slate College. The scholarship is awarded at the rate of $100 per year for five years. Pharmacy is a five-year course. The selection, made by the Oregon State Phar maceutical Assn. is based partial ly on superior scholarship. Miss Martha Young of Seattle is arriving in Roseburg Saturday to spend the holidays as the house guest of her brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin G. Young, on Hawthorne Drive.
