They are graduates of Northern State Teachers College, Aberdeen, S. D.; Lee College, Tennessee; and Ogle thorpe University and Emory Uni versity at Altanta, Ga. The public is invited to attend the Saturday and Sunday events, according to the Rev. L. A. Smith Jr., pastor. A special singspiration will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. THE KLAUDT FAMILY will appear at the Church of the Open Bible, Roseburg, Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and oil-day Sunday. They will entertain with both musical ond vocol selections of a sacred nature. The Church of the Open Bible, 1643 SE Jackson St., Roseburg, , will be hosts to the Klaudt Indian Family Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and all day Sunday. The family has just celebrated its 32nd year in full-time music evangelism through the entire Uni ted States, Canada, Cuba and Mex ico. The group travels 125-thousand miles each year to meet engage ments for 3G5 days a year. Tent Meets Puring the summer months they travel in city-wide tent meetings in a fleet of semi-trucks, house trailers and cars from the extreme South to North. During the winter months they travel in a privately owned bus with beds, sofa and clothes closets for travel and liv ing quarters. During this time they travel from Los Angeles, Calif., to New York City, N.Y., and from Seattle, Wash., to Miami, Fla. The group has sung to some 40 different denominations a year and appeared on many musical pro grams. They have put out over 30 different records in singles and recorded their first long play record last year. The family, which includes the Rev. and Mrs. Klaudt, and their four sons, features quartets, trios, solos, duets and selections on the piano, electric organ, bass violin, trombone fend tenor and alto sax- phone. They specialize in singing old hymns, negro spirituals, gos pel songs and popular - sacred numbers. Further Education Along with all of the' travel, fam ily members have managed to find Glendale Churches Prepare Programs Glendale churches are preparing for Christmas services and pro grams, reports Mrs. G. B. Fox, correspondent. The Glendale Church of Christ will hold its Sunday School Christ mas program at the church at U a.m. Sunday with Mrs. LeRoy Dix on in charge. The Azalea Community Church! win noid its Christmas program at the church Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday School will partici pate in the program. The Glendale Olivet Presbyter ian Church has scheduled its! Christmas program for Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. J. E. Bryan, Sun-j uay ocuooi superimenaeni, will have charge of the program, as sisted by Mrs. Bruce Wills. The theme for the program will be Christmas Carols .and each class will present one of the carols with something on its background or interpretation: The Presbyterian Church will hold its worship services Dec. 25 at a special time. Instead of sep arate Sunday School and worship hour services, a family type com bination service will be held at 10:30 a.m. St. George's Church To End Advent Season St. George's Episcopal Church is ending the Advent season this Sunday, witn me iracuuonai ser vice of Lessons and Carols as used in King's College, Cambridge, as the climax to the spiritual prep aration for Christmas. A series of lessons will be read from the Bible, beginning with the Book of Genesis, and also the prophets of Isaiah and Micah, showing God's preparations for the birth of Christ which will be read to the congregation in two of the Gospels In between each Biblical - lesson an appropriate! nymn will De sung By tne con gregation or an anthem will be given by the' choir. Special music is being prepared by the senior choir under the di rection of Robert E. Robins, choir director. This year this service will be at 11 a.m., rather than in the evening. There will be evening services on Jan. 21 at 8 when Bishop Dagwell will be here for Confirmation Service, and on Dec. j 24, with the Christmas Eve Holy communion ueginmng ai 11 p.m. Yoncalla Churches Prepare Programs , Yoncalla churches are prepar ing programs for the Christma season, reports Mrs. George Edet correspondent. The Junior Sunday School of the Methodist Church will hold its pro gram Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The senior and adult programs will be held Sunday evening at 7:30. The First Baptist Church will hold its program Sunday evening at 7 with recitation's, songs and a short sermon by the pastor. The Yoncalla Church of Christ will hold its Sunday School pro gram Dec. 25 at 10 a.m. The choir will present its musical program on the evening of Dec. 25. The Yoncalla Assembly of God Church will hold its program this Sunday at 7:45 p.m. PROGRAM SCHEDULED A Christmas program entitled, "God's Supreme Gift", will be held at the Winston Christian Church Sunday at 7:30 p.m. An invitation is extended to the gen eral public, reports Phebe lie Guire, correspondent.
